So this year, 2019, is 10 years since I was severely injured in Afghanistan. It’s made me reflect on the last 10 years and the opportunities that I have had in that time that have made me who I am today. Race Across America Training - Fa, France

In 2017 a Help for Heroes team of eight wounded, injured and sick veterans and service personnel will take on one of the world's toughest endurance cycling events, the epic 3,081 mile Race Across America (RAAM). Please support the team as they prepare to push themselves to the limit both physically and mentally in the pursuit of finishing the RAAM in under seven days.

10 of the most inspiring adventures of 2016 - The Guardian

In December 2016, Jaco and three friends Steve, Caroline and Karen, cycled the Carretera Austral from North to South of Patagonia. It was an incredible trip totalling 770 miles whilst bike packing along the way. They cycled through ever changing landscapes with breath taking views. 

The trip has now been recognised by the Guardian and listed in the top 10 most inspiring adventures of 2016. The full article including the other nine trips can be found here: The Guardian.
